Bear eats woman’s kayak after being maced

I could  not pass this video up without passing it on to you, it is just to freaking funny!  At first you are not sure who you are not supposed to feel sorry for, the women or the bear? Then you quickly figure out, IT'S THE BEAR!

ANCHORAGE — Gratitude turned to screams of frustration for a woman in Alaska’s Berg Bay as her kayak was destroyed by a black bear.

Mary Maley uploaded a video to YouTube Tuesday highlighting the incident. After thanking the bear for leaving her kayak alone, Maley can be seen pepper spraying the bear, which then turns back to her kayak.

Extreme Snow Kayaking? 

Here it is the end of October and I am getting ready to put my kayak away for the winter. The last thing I was thinking about was racing 40 miles an hour down a hill through the snow.  People are really doing this.  I live in lowa, where snow is not foreign to me. But really, using my kayak as a sled?

And to think he was actually fishing for shark in the first place, in a kayak, by himself, in the first place.

To think I thought I was brave just getting into my kayak when people were around.  These people take kayaking to a new level.  I think I have a few years before I am able to try anything like this.  Like, never!
